The Nurse Practitioner Skills Workshop is geared toward meeting the needs of NP students and NPs working in Primary Care settings. Participants will learn many important skills, including suturing, splinting/casting, skin biopsies, incision/drainage, joint injections, cerumen lavage, IUD/implant insertion, as well as coding and billing. The workshop's clinical instructors, with extensive knowledge teaching Advanced Diagnostic skills, work in both Family Practice and Emergency Department settings.

The 2-day skills course is approved for 16 contact hours of continuing education (including 3.75 hours of pharmacology) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, activity ID#19093872. This program was planned in accordance with AANP CE Standards and Policies.
