Licensures and Certifications

Aria A. Dines is an Animation Director, 2D Rigging Specialist and Educator.

Her films have been officially selected and recognized at numerous international and domestic film festivals. Additionally she has presented her research on animation at multiple universities and academic conferences; notably at the University of New South Wales - Art & Design campus in Sydney, Australia.

Aria has collaborated with Toon Boom Animation Inc. as an Ambassador, Animation Consultant, and Beta Tester. She has also been trained and certified by Toon Boom in advanced rigging principles and the company's animation software - Harmony Premium. Furthermore, Aria has a passion for sound, and extensive experience working with the medium. During her time as a Recording Engineer for the California Institute of the Arts, Aria provided her sound expertise on countless live-action projects and animated films.

Aria's artistic practice combines the interpretive framework of intuitive storytelling, with the analytical nature of rigging and animation to create technically proficient and visually gratifying work. Art that strives to explore various facets of the human condition.
