Political Science
The political science minor, open to all students, strengthens your understanding of government systems that you can apply to your career interests. Beyond foundational courses in political theory, you can customize the minor to your interests. The department suggests courses if you’re interested in pre-law, public administration, communications or politics. You can spend a semester abroad or in Washington, D.C., to enhance your understanding of politics. Outside the classroom, you can participate in student organizations such as the pre-law club, mock trial team or student chapters of political parties.
