The Bradley Advantage

Bradley’s chemistry program shows you how substances behave at their most basic level. It's certified by the American Chemical Society, which means courses meet academic standards promoted by top graduate schools and employers. The undergraduate program gives you a foundation in chemistry principles and allows you flexibility to explore several areas of interest. As a chemistry major, you’re exposed to lab research as a first-year. You can continue research outside the classroom through small research teams that work closely with faculty. Many of these projects have professional implications or lead to credit in academic research journals. In addition to the general chemistry degree, you can earn a degree in chemistry business, high school chemistry education, chemical engineeringpre-med or pre-pharmacy. You also can earn a graduate chemistry degree through Bradley.

Successful Outcomes

Bradley’s chemistry program successfully prepares you to enter the workforce or graduate school. In recent years, all students found jobs or continued their education within six months of graduation. They're working at places such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Carus Chemical, St. Louis Metropolitan Crime Laboratory, Emerald Performance Materials, Cabot Microelectronics and Exelon Energy. Others are attending graduate school at universities such as University of Illinois, University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin, University of Iowa and the University of California-Riverside.
