The degree gives you a solid foundation in chemistry and a mastery of basic engineering principles. You’re exposed to collaborative faculty-led research as a first-year student, and you will use state-of-the-art instrumentation throughout your academic career. Plus, there are internship opportunities with a variety of industrial facilities and government and hospital labs in the Peoria area. In addition, you can earn a general degree in chemistry, a chemistry high school teacher education degree, a concentration in chemistry pre-med, a concentration in chemistry business or a concentration in chemistry-pre pharmacy.
