All enrolled full time students, faculty, and student-facing staff are eligible to receive an iPad with 5G, as part of the Bradley University Digitally Connected Campus experience.
You may keep your university-provided Apple iPad as long as you are a full-time student at Bradley University. When you graduate (or if you leave Bradley), you are expected to return your iPad. You may not sell or otherwise change ownership of the iPad at any time.
Please return the 10th Gen. iPad, keyboard case, a power block, and a USB-C cord to the Bradley University Service Desk. If you are not in the Bradley area, you should ship the items back.
Shipping and Packing Instructions:
Students are responsible for returning their iPad when they leave campus or graduate.
Your iPad has built-in accessibility features to help you connect, create, and do what you love in the ways that work best for you. Customize your iPad with features for vision, hearing, mobility, speech, and cognitive accessibility.
The iPads provided by Bradley University include additional security and a curated suite of apps that will be beneficial to your campus experience. These include apps for note taking, learning, productivity, connectivity to campus, well-being, and web links to Bradley systems and resources.
The device is yours to customize and use for classes, FaceTime, or even stream movies and shows and create content on the go. You are encouraged to use the technology for both school work and your personal life. All uses of the products must conform to the Bradley University IT Policies for safety and security.
You are allowed to use your Apple ID to download and use personal apps and files on your iPad. Payment for paid apps (not provided by Bradley University) and subscription or fee-based services are the user’s responsibility.
Yes. The device will connect cellularly on and off campus, subject to T-Mobile’s coverage. T-Mobile’s 5G network covers 325 million people across 1.9 million square miles – more than AT&T and Verizon combined. All data usage is included in the plan, regardless of location of the use of the device. The 5G-enabled iPads not only connect to the hybrid 5G network on Bradley's campus, but also connect to any public 5G or 4G LTE network offered by T-Mobile, including in more than 215 countries!
If your iPad is stolen, you must file a police report in the jurisdiction where the theft took place. Students must obtain the police report number and contact the IT Service Desk to open a service ticket providing the police report number, the date of loss, and circumstances surrounding the theft, (location, where the device was stolen from, etc.). The IT Service Desk will immediately lock the device and place it into "Lost Mode" by following the Lost Mode documentation. This will initiate the replacement process for a stolen device. Bradley University will use reasonable efforts to assist in locating and retrieving lost or stolen iPads.
If you cannot obtain a police report, you may be responsible for the device’s total cost to receive a replacement, as the iPad would be considered lost, not stolen.
