Conference Services

When you plan to host a conference, symposium or meeting, call us to help you with your event. Whether it’s venue choice, speaker arrangements, websites or secure online registration, our Conference Services team offers a suite of services you can tailor to your budget and needs.

Our Services

We can help you with your conference, regardless of location. In addition to events at Bradley University, our team has hosted conferences on both coasts, in Chicago — even as far away as Hawaii! Let our team of experienced conference planners take the stress off you, by:

  • Finding a site for your conference
  • Arranging all the meals
  • Assisting with transportation planning
  • Ensuring your speakers have the audio/visual materials they need, including copies of their handouts.
  • Planning social events for conferees and their guests.
  • Staffing the on-site registration desk: we’ll check in your participants, distribute conference packets, help with walk-in registrations and payment, prepare name tags, answer local questions, and answer your conference attendees’ questions.

Your Information is Secure

Your conference participants want to register online. They expect it. And we can deliver.

Not only can we offer online registration, we can also assure your participants that their information is secure.

  • Online registration lets conference participants know you recognize their need for quick and convenient registration options.
  • Don't be fooled. Not all online registration protects your personal information. We use a secure network for all our online registration.

Bradley University monitors threats to its computer networks and routinely updates anti-virus software on all systems commonly attacked by identity thieves. Credit card security is an ongoing process, not a one-time event.

  • If your conference participants choose to complete a registration form, rather than registering online, they can be confident we store their personal information in a restricted area.
  • We've got back-up. Every night we replicate our data on a secure system outside our office. In the event of a disaster, we can retrieve all electronic information.

Show your customers that you understand their preferences for quick — and safe — online registration.

Details Matter

There are many details to coordinate in a typical conference. Here's a partial list:

  • Speaker contracts and travel arrangements
  • Name badges and participant lists
  • Online registration and confirmation letters
  • Budgeting and account management
  • Brochure and website production
  • Audio visual support and internet access
  • Hotel meeting space and overnight accommodations
  • Catering
  • On-site event coordination
  • Program booklets, handouts, evaluations

Truth is, the list is longer. But don’t be alarmed. Coordinating behind-the-scenes details is our idea of fun. Done correctly, details tell your participants your conference is professional.

We're a Licensed Provider of CEUs

When participants need continuing education credit to keep up a license or to show professional development growth, your conference is their opportunity to earn required contact hours.

As a licensed provider of CEUs (continuing education units), CPEs (continuing professional education units), CPDUs (continuing professional development units) and PDHs (professional development hours), we’re a great choice to help you create a CEU plan that will identify and register professional contact hours.

We're Savvy About Technology

One of the fastest ways to attract potential participants to your conference is through a great online experience. Here are some must haves:

  • A conference website to learn more about your event
  • Online registration
  • A registration form they can print and mail in, if they prefer.

As conference coordinator, you’ll need technology support, including:

  • A sortable list of participants
  • A spreadsheet that tracks revenues and expenses
  • A way to capture participants’ email addresses
  • An ability to connect through social media channels like Facebook

Count on us to offer many of the technology solutions you and your participants expect.

What do our clients say?

The cost of planning your conference with Continuing Education comes down to the services you choose, from basic registration services to coordinating every detail. How much help you need will depend on factors like budget and time, two critical decision points for your conference.

Regardless of the services you choose, we guarantee you’ll think our work was worth the cost. Here’s what a few of our clients had to say:

“Working with Continuing Education's Conference Services made all the difference when The George Washington University hosted the NAASS annual conference in Arlington, Va. The fact that Bradley is located in Peoria, Ill., made no difference. Bradley's team was knowledgeable and efficient in setting up and handling pre-conference logistics such as online registration, enrollment reports and managing our on-site registration. I also appreciated their experience and guidance in helping us think through details we might not have considered.”

Georgette Edmondson-Wright, Director of Summer Sessions
The George Washington University

“For more than 15 years, Continuing Education has created a conference atmosphere that is warm and welcoming to the speakers, the participants and the planning committee. Continuing Education saved us time and money. Their work was well worth the cost.”

Karen Egan and Ron Winner
Co-coordinators, Institute for School and Public Librarians Conference, Illinois State Library, Springfield

“Continuing Education has been instrumental in making the Institute's national public policy symposiums go smoothly. Their secure online registration, conference expertise and outstanding staff have helped make our events a great success.”
