Welcome Week is a time for students to connect and reconnect with the Bradley family! The week is filled with opportunities to safely engage with students, faculty and staff. We are excited to have you at Bradley and can't wait to launch the new year with you.

Saturday, August 20

8 a.m. - 4 p.m. First Year Move, Varies
Be sure to sign up for your move in time beginning August 1 through housing. Information is sent to your Bradley email on file. Be sure to label all items with Name and Room Number. The Fraternity and Sorority Life Community and members of Student Organizations will be on hand to assist you get unloaded.
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Welcome Village, Olin Quad
Swing by Olin Quad to connect with a variety of resources, gather information and get any last minute questions answered. Food trucks will be on hand with food for purchase.
4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Move-in Day Mass - St. Mark Catholic Church (1113 W Bradley Ave)
Students and their families are invited to Mass at St. Mark Catholic Church. Mass will be over in time for residential floor meetings!
5:30 p.m. First Floor Meeting, See location posted on your floor.
Meet with your RA/ARA for a quick meeting on floor standards and overview of upcoming events.
7 p.m. Campus Life Ambassador(CLA) Opening Session, Various
College has begun and your Campus Life Ambassador (CLA) is there to help you navigate the hectic first few days of Welcome Week. Locations will be posted on your residence hall floor for on campus students or emailed directly to you for our Commuting Braves!
9:00 p.m. ACBU Welcome Back Event in Coliseum - Matthew Broussard, Renaissance Coliseum
ACBU kicks off the school year with Comedian Matthew Broussard! Matthew Broussard is a disgraced financial analyst forced into stand up comedy. The byproduct of a Cajun chemist and Jewish microbiologist, he holds a degree in computational mathematics he always manages to bring up (just did it!) and is fully aware of how he looks.

Meet up with your CLA (same location as the previous day) to get ready for a busy day of getting ready for life at Bradley.
12:30 p.m. You are Enough! A Game Changing Mental Health Belief w/ Darryll Stinson, Renaissance Coliseum
It’s Great to B a Part of Our Community!
You’ll hear how fighting chronic depression as a D1 athlete on a historic football team led Darryll to multiple suicide attempts, all because he never felt like he was enough. You’ll hear how he overcame mental health stigmas to become a successful entrepreneur and family man. You’ll leave knowing of many of the resources available by Bradley.
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Welcome Back Bash, Alumni Quad
Grab some food, friends and hang out on the Alumni Quad before your last session of the day. This event is sponsored by the Greek Programming Board and funded by SABRC.
3:30 p.m. CLA to Speaker: Sex Rules with Maria Wilson, RenCo
Meet back with your CLA and head to your last session of the day, Sex Rules! Learn how to navigate the red zone and how to help your friends too!
5:30 p.m. ACBU Presents: Ben Wagner, Olin Quad at Taste of Bradley
Your campus programming board brings Ben Wagner to Taste of Badley! Ben Wagner is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Wisconsin. He was named first place in the Great American Song Contest, “New and Notable” by NoiseTrade, “One to Watch” by Nashville Songwriters Association International, along with local nominations for best singer/songwriter and acoustic musician.
5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Taste of Bradley, Olin Quad
It’s one of Bradley’s favorite traditions! Food trucks, local vendors and live music provided by ACBU! Cash, Debit and Credit accepted.
8 p.m. ACBU Movie on the Quad: Monsters University, Olin Quad
Grab your friends, a blanket and head to the Quad for Monsters University. Prizes, giveaways and more! This event is sponsored by ACBU and funded by SABRC.

Open to all Bradley students who are seeking paid, part-time jobs and internships. Employers will feature on-campus and off-campus jobs students can work throughout the year. Get more information on the Expo and the updated list of employers attending!.
11 a.m. - Noon HPAC Orientation and Q&A, Bradley 139
As you begin your journey to a career in healthcare, you will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Val Bennett, your pre-health advisor. Come learn about HPAC services and resources and hear from a student panel of upperclassmen pursuing various pre-health careers.
1 p.m. AEP Academic Reception, Marty Theater, Lower Level of the Student Center
Kick off the school year meeting other AEP students in an informal environment prior to the start of classes. There will be a short presentation with an opportunity for Q&A. AEP academic advisors will be present to discuss any last minute schedule changes. This event is for first year AEP students. Be sure to bring your fall class schedule.

During this session, you will be provided with information about the recruitment process as well as all the great opportunities that Greek life has to offer. Freshman are invited to meet all the leaders of the Latinx student groups, meet other Latinx students at Bradley, and enjoy activities, food, and music.
6 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment Philanthropy Round, Pre-Registration Required

Common Ground is Bradley University’s LGBTQ+ outreach and activism organization. We meet weekly to discuss LGBTQ+ life on campus, current events in our spaces, or simply to hang out!

This event is hosted to provide incoming students with the opportunity to mix and mingle with upper level students from ethnically and racially diverse and/or LGBTQ+ backgrounds in a more personal setting. Several multicultural student organizations were be represented at this event to inform students about the different events, programs, and activities they are known for. Refreshments will be provided.

Stepping and strolling is a part of the history of NPHC and MGC Organizations. Come check out what our NPHC and MGC families are bringing to the yard and how to get involved.

Academics is just part of your college experience. Come meet our student organizations and figure out how you will spend your time out of the classroom!

Dress to impress in your best black and white at the first NPHC party of the year. Non-Bradley Guests must be registered in advance by Thursday at 5:00 p.m. by submitting names and birth date to this form. $5 entry fee. For Non-Bradley Greeks, it’s a $3 entry.

Men’s Formal recruitment comes to an end with the celebration for all the new members!
5 p.m. Orchesis Tryouts, Group Fitness Room (Markin)
Orchesis is Bradley’s studio-based dance group. Our mission is to gain a wide student awareness, interest, and participation in dance by providing leadership and instruction in a relaxed dance environment. Our goal is for each member to achieve knowledge of dance as an art form, as well as bring the joy of dance to the Bradley campus and surrounding area. September 4th is the first day of tryouts, followed by Monday the 5th in the group fitness room and Thursday the 8th in the performance court!
