Symphonic Winds/Band Auditions
Symphonic Winds/Band Auditions are scheduled during 8-minute blocks of time. Students auditioning for Symphonic Winds should prepare the excerpts found online as well as a piece of the individual's choosing. Even though the excerpts are marked with desirable metronome markings, etc., just play them to the best of your ability. Students auditioning for Symphonic Band should play something prepared and may be asked to sight read a simple excerpt. Auditions for Fall 2023 will take place Monday, August 21st and Tuesday, August 22nd. There are specific blocks of time for specific instruments. If you cannot make the specific block of time, please sign up during an "any instrument" slot.

Basketball Band Auditions
Any student who is a member of a concert band or jazz ensemble can elect to be in the Bradley Basketball Band without playing another audition. Students who are not in one of those bands must complete a playing audition on Friday, September 1, 2023. Please prepare a musical excerpt or etude of your choosing for the audition. You may be asked to play a scale or two, and then you will be asked to sight read.
